For customers using Azure ActiveDirectory (AAD) B2C as the Identity provider for their site, this feature will auto-link an end-user’s B2C local account on sign-in or sign-up to the Commerce customer record. For B2B environments, the end-user sign-in will link to the approved customer record in HQ. For B2C sites, the sign up or sign in will check against existing customer records and auto-link to the customer account. If conflicts in matching arise in B2C or B2B sites, or if a customer is not an approved customer in B2B sites; errors will be thrown. Customer search is within the Legal Entity.
