When users publish changes to data records using the Excel add-in, the updates are split into batches. This feature provides flexibility in the number of rows that are included in each publish batch. System administrators can specify a system-wide limit on the publish batch size for “Open in Excel” workbooks. Excel workbook template authors can also set a default maximum publish batch size for newly-created templates. Finally, individual users have the ability to set a maximum publish batch size for each workbook.
