This feature enhances the accelerated depreciation functionality that is available to Japan. When this feature is enabled, it is possible to select Calendar as the Depreciation year for a depreciation profile that have the Accelerated depreciation method. It is ensured that the values of the Depreciation year setting of the regular depreciation method and the accelerated depreciation method in a fixed asset book are the same. In case the period of accelerated depreciation calculation is covered by more than one accelerated depreciation document, the accelerated depreciation amount is calculated using the weighted average of overuse rates from these documents.
